Dentistry
Just as with humans, dental hygiene is an important part of a long and healthy life for your pet. We believe consistent oral care is vital to the health of gums and teeth. However, sometimes preventive measures are not enough. If this is the case, we have everything required for dental surgery on site. We can provide scaling, polishing, dental x-ray, gingival treatment, or whatever dental care is needed to correct problems in your pet's mouth. |
Radiology
Radiology can be a very useful tool in diagnostics for your pet. Our in-house x-ray equipment gives us the ability to quickly asses the status of any physical injuries, abnormalities, or geriatric problems that may be affecting your special friend. |
Laboratory
Some tests, such as faecal screening and urinalysis are done on site. For more extensive analyisis, samples are express-couriered to Idexx Laboratories in Delta. The results are faxed back to the clinic, usually within 24-48 hours where they are reviewed by one of our Veterinarians. In this fashion, clients have the benefit of a qualified pathologist's interpretation of their pet's results, in addition to our own. |
Medical Diagnostics and Hospitalized Treatment
Arriving at the correct diagnosis is critical in assessing the health status of your pet. This allows us to determine the appropriate courses of therapy and implement them quickly. Our fully equipped hospital facilities, radiology, and surgery all give us the ability to provide the level of service your pet deserves. |
Surgery
We can provide fluid therapy, cardiac monitoring, and the most up to date anesthetics in our operating theater. We are able to offer your pet a safe and comfortable anesthetic experiece for all the surgical procedures performed in our facility. We also offer pain management and any required anitbiotic from our fully equipped pharmacy which will assist in a speedy recovery. |
