May I leave services on account/create a payment plan with your Hospital?

-No, we do not allow clients to leave services on account and require full payment at the time that services are rendered.  There are no exceptions to this policy.

Do I require an appointment to see the Veterinarian?

-Yes!  At Brentwood Bay Veterinary Clinic your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and your pet and we will make every effort to accommodate your scheduling needs.  In return, we ask that you help us by arriving for your scheduled appointment on time and, by notifying us with a minimum of 24 hours in advance if you are unable to do so. 

​Also, we charge a Missed Appointment fee for Clients who do not show for their appointment or, who do not give 24hrs notice of a cancelled or rescheduled appointment.  All no-shows/missed appointments are recorded in the client file.  

We also require 7 days notice to cancel or change a surgical booking so that we might schedule another suitable surgery to fill the spot.  Failure to provide us with 7 days notice will result in a charge to your account. 

​Please keep in mind that, when we receive advance notice of cancellations we are able to avoid misspent employee time and, more importantly, we are able to accommodate other patients requiring our care. 

Does my cat need to arrive in a carrier/does my dog need to arrive on leash?

-Yes!  It really comes down to a safety issue for both cats and dogs.  Your dog may not be feeling like him or herself, they may be scared or, they may be the friendliest dog that has ever "friendlied" but that doesn't mean that the next dog to enter the hospital will feel the same way.  Having your dog on leash and near you helps to keep everyone safe, happy and as stress-free as possible. 

And on that note.........your kitty may be the most laid back kitty you've ever met but, when faced with a new situation or, when faced with a barking dog in a hospital waiting room, even the most laid back kitty may want to run, jump or scratch.  Trust us, your kitty will thank you for the the safety and security of a carrier!
